Abstract

Background. Establishing a mathematical relationship between the electrical conductivity and solubility product of sparingly soluble salts is a quite topical problem as it allows to quickly determine the concentration of salt in a solution.
Results. The article describes a theoretically obtained mathematical dependence between the conductivity and the product of solubility of sparingly soluble salts, which is confirmed by the available published data.
Conclusions. The results of these studies allow to use the derived equation to determine the product of solubility and the concentration of sparingly soluble salts.

Key words

electrical conductivity, solubility product of sparingly soluble salts
